Is the Church Obligatory to Believe in a Young Earth?

The church has ruled that the sources of faith don't demand a young earth or that evolution didn't happen. If you tink the scientific evidence points to a young earth and away from evolution happening, you're perfectly free to believe those things. There is room for those opinions, and i want to make that clear. Some catholic young earth supporters don't like that the magisterium has made the judgments it has. They are not accurately or honestly representing what the churc h has had to say about this.
