The Theology of the Church

As we read through the book of Acts, it definitely comes to bear that the church is bearing witness to the resurrected Christ. And they're in many places and in many times, or they are called to suffer on behalf of that. So it's their union with Christ, their identity with Christ, which causes their suffering. But that's part of the larger plan and scheme for how Christ is building his church.
