The Life and Career of a Photographer
I grew up in Venice, California. My dad is an artist. He's a sculptor. And my mom is really into the arts as well and has a degree in art history. She trains docents first at LACMA and then at the Getty in Los Angeles. And so really kind of artsy household growing up. And then my background is more in like visual art. I went to art school and stuff but it just felt too competitive or it was just like everyone right now is trying to be a photographer in New York right now. That was right now 2010 2011.
