CGR Design - Thermodynamic Accelerator
The Therac six is an X-ray accelerator that can output up to three mega electron volts. It was developed in the 1980s by a Canadian company called ACL. The machine had computer control elements, so operators didn't have to set it all up manually. They connected this to a PDP 11 mini computer and then they were superseded by two new machines.
