"The job itself, man, I checked all the boxes. So anything that I would want to do as a rescue swimmer, I got to do up there," he says. "I got to pull a mariner out of a life raft, which is something you train for all the time in school and you never think it's going to happen." He was still freaked out when his wife told him she might be pregnant with their first child.
