Non Violent Communication Can Be Useful in Making Meetings More Productive

When we're trying to tackle gang structures social change, we can't burn our energy out with unproductive meetings. By just presenting your pain or your thoughts without a clear request, is very likely to be the stimulus of a very unproductive discussion. I was working with another team of minority citizens wanting to change hiring practices in another gang in the city. They felt the hiring practices were oppressive because they discriminated against certain people. So this was one of several ways we showed the people how non violent communication could be useful in making their meetings more productive.
