Padma Lakshmi's new series, Tastination, debuts on PBS this week. The first episode focuses on a community of Cambodian refugees and survivors who've made a life for themselves in Lowell, Massachusetts. Padma says the show is an answer to people who don't think we should let in asylum seekers or refugees because they may say it's a drain on our economic system.
