How to Test Your Ambition
There is no place like ambition in a pastor. It can mix with calling in a sense of sacred work and you can make them sanctified and holy. I used to ask myself this question standing in front of the congregation if this is all that it ever was. If I pastor these same 30 people for the rest of my life in this same rented room, will this have been enough? And more often than not, I know it wouldn't be.
