Introduction

Dr. David Simel: In this JAMA Author Interview, we will be discussing the topic of prediabetes. Dr. Samuel de Gogo-Jack holds the AC Mullins Endow Professorship and is Chief of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis. He is a past president of the American Diabetes Association; he is the author of Diagnosis and Management of Prediabetes that appears in the April 13th, 2023 issue of JAMA.
