The Origins of the CMB Temperature Variations

The temperature variations in the CMB don't just tell us about some early point in our universe's history, but they also tell us about the evolution from then to now. The hottest parts of the CMB are also the places in the early universe that were the lowest density. To actually detect these variations or anisotropy, you have to have a really detailed measurement of the C MB.
