Ukraine's Counter-Offensive Is Not Going Well

I spent a week in hospital in the Ukraine with wounded soldiers and off a lot of them were missing legs as a result of mines. The russians are operating behind multiple lines of minefields which have also been carefully laid so as to funnel the Ukrainians into particular killing fields where they can be decimated by russian artillery. I'll always remember you know one of your main quotes there was mines just this was like everybody was talking about how formidable the mines were for the Ukrainian side. So far clearly the Ukrainians have not managed to achieve a breakthrough but while you know they could gradually wear down the russians to the point where they crack.
