The End Stage of Gerrymandering in Tennessee

The GOP has a super majority in Tennessee, but there is no governance whatsoever. The people who kind of make the deals in the middle are nowhere to be found. And so what happens with these super majorities is you end up having to go farther and farther to the right to assuage the right wing of your own party. It leads to the insanity that we're seeing now.
