Why You Shouldn't Focus on Best Practice

It is human nature to focus on best practice. I've seen it all the time, people do it. They want to latch onto the best practice idea because it gives them an excuse when you have to defend the actions. We never look at a person and say, hey, what this person is telling me is really intelligent and really insightful. Let's go with it. Even though they don't seem to have the background that shows their next person area. That's the way we approach all learning situations.
