The Church Endowed a Large Sum on Its National Fund Raising Commitment
Before the government took the church to court, would have been a roughly 23 million dollars. After everything was said and done, in theory, the church still owed a large amount on its national fund raising commitment. Of course, they were legally released from that. And so that still leaves a 21 plus million dollar whole,. To say nothing of the bigger a unmeant commitment, which was their moral commitment to survivors.
