Why Do We See Blue in the Sky?
We see blue because of how the light from the sun interacts with our atmosphere. The sky above us is filled with gases that we can't see. Sun light is just plain white, but it's actually a mixture of all the colors of the rainbow. For example, long, wavy, low energy waves are seen as the color red. While the short, choppy, high energy wave are seen as blue light.
