Both esau and jacob have a lot of growing up to do. By the end of to day's lesson, both boys will be incredible men of god. You wonder what all this is meant to represent to us as we follow jacob through this story. He doesn't even know the name of this place. It's just a certain place, he calls it. And to be in some certain place emotionally, is this the emotional low point? Now that might be cynical of us to think that.
