What if It's Machine Learning?

Yorke: To what extent does the ogrithm creator have a responsibility to society, versus creating civil unrest or? What if it's machine learning, and we don't actually quite know what's going on behind the scenes. Walk me through, like, how do you think about where the responsibility for that lies? Yorke: I mean, thisis, i be e thing, i think you can trace almost every major problem that we have in the world to day to the fact that capitalism has a very short term outlook. It maximizes for what is good to day, not what is great ten years later.
