The Importance of Anti-Fragility
A 2008 study by the same researchers, however, found that the rate had skyrocketed by 350%, to 14 per 1,000. Why? Because parents and teachers had protected children from exposure to peanuts. So the lesson is clear, immune systems become anti-fragile when exposed to environmental stressors. And so do our minds and bodies for the stressors of daily life.
