What Fuel Poverty Means?
Chris bryant tweeted that everyone on the national living wage either is already or very soon will be living in fuel poverty. The government's package support announced after cris bryant's tweat might change things. But there's a more immediate problem with the tweat, which is that nobody can agree what fuel poverty means. It used to mean you needed to spend at least ten % of your household income on energy in the home. We'll turn our statistical spotlight on that question in due course.
