The Uniqueness of the Eucharist
When is it that Christians are believing this? Well, from the beginning, we know that in John chapter six, when Jesus made it clear that He was going to give us His flesh and blood as food and drink. But here we have St. Grinchon Chrysostom and talks about this and he says, it is not man that causes the things offered to become the body and blood of Christ. And so there's a connection and an intrinsic connection between the reality of Christ's presence in the Eucharist and the ministry, the role, the action of the priest.
