"I wouldn't call it necessary trauma unless she told us more about what some of those dates did," therapist says. "The whole thing set up in fear and the expectation then the expectations plus belief equals fulfillment." She's drawn actually to the ones who aren't interested, but feeling not interested in those who are. So that's a dance to work through that takes some time and some self-awareness.
