Is It Trickier for the Fed to Control Risk Sentiments?
I don't think it stops them from doing the traditional hiking of rates. We really care about using our main lever, which is the rate channel. What are we doing with rates? The whole balance sheet is a mystery. And they've sometimes themselves have admitted we don't really know how it fully works through the banking system. But yeah, we'll talk more about what this means in a higher rate environment.
