The Importance of Service in AA

AA is a strange place, right? There's a piece of literature that says won't all types of odd people show up. All kinds of odd people have showed up including myself. But AA is the only place where let's just say you get elected. And you're the best person who's ever done that position. Maybe ask to resign if it appears they are unable to carry out the responsibilities of the position. The service entity involved is then free to elect a new trusted servant to the position.
