The Importance of Hiking in the Sinai
The idea of the hiking trail was really inspired by a lot of the long distance trails that we saw in neighboring regions. Jordan had recently made one called the Jordan Trail, which aims to show the entire nation on foot. We felt it was being represented mostly unfairly by people that weren't ever really part of it. That seemed like the best way we could possibly push back on those narratives and give the Sinai something that mattered.
