Anscombe and Foot Make the Biggest Difference in the Philosophy of Philosophy

Midgley has a famo argument with which dawkins, doesn't she? She does. They have this skirmish in the late seventies, early eighties after some one was saying that dawkins would be a really good guide for moral philosophers. And she found some of the things that he said about selfishness and altruism more expansively than others. But her real contribution is to say we can rise above what dawkins might crudely say are our selfish instincts.
