The Neuropsychiatric Condition of Hoarding

Hoarders are more likely to have other family members who are also hoarders. 85% of hoarders surveyed say that they have a family member who's a hoarder, which is way more than the general population. The condition only became its own thing in the DSM-5 which came out in 2013. But it is in the DSM now, which means that insurance companies will pay for treatment for it.
