The King of the Franks
Robert was virulently anti judaic. He supported the forced conversion of jews and allowed their expulsion from cities. Once he had sid his first wife, robert married bertha of burgundy. This was incredibly controversial for a number of reasons. Not all bishops accepted the annulment between him and rozala. Those bishops present at his marriage were censored and the officiating archbishop was deposed.
