The Queen of the Gods

Jason carried the old woman across the river. Currents, very harsh, boulders kept ripping up tree trunks. But Jason being a hero was able to manage it. And as he did so there was a shimmering of gold. He looked round and the old woman was veiled in a beautiful lustrous mist. She was rising and rising and rising into the sky. Now how do you think Jason responded to that? Did he say, no, you horrible old woman? Or did he say, I've been brought up by Kyron and I have incredibly good manners? What do you think?
