How Much Did a Seat on the Floor of the Exchange Cost?
Anthony: I was, you know, i'm just about six feet tall and maybe a hundred and 70 pounds. My first trade, i remember, i stood in the pit, i waited for the open to pass so i could actually get in there. The topstep, guys were closest to the broker, so it was just like, you know,. closest to the water per se, so they got most of the trade. So i really didn't get any any respect. It was very much a political game.
