Are the Econ Camps Political?

The Washington Post runs a front page headline that says big corporations bankroll seminars for U.S. judges. People start to think, are these seminars a little indoctrination-y? Henry Manney always said the camps were not political. One judge once wrote that all the economists at Econ Camp had, quote, Neanderthal views on race and social policy,. But even he said that the lessons were pretty useful.
