Market Week Cycles - What's the Reality?
There's a history you can track of our current unbroken system of seven-day cycles. But there also have been other things throughout the world that subdivided the month into some number of days, but it wasn't necessarily the same as our seven-day week. The Maya and the Aztec solar calendars consisted of 365 days made up,. essentially, of 18 20-day weeks plus five blank days. They also had a 260-day divination calendar year that was used exclusively for divination. And the Indonesian system had several uses, but the main function, according to the Zarubovil, was divination.
