Survival Is Tail Chasing

Survival is fundamentally unsatisfying because it always ends in failure. To do so would require freezing all of reality into a fixed, static corner - that's literally what it would mean to win at survival. As a community we need to reach a consensus about which survival strategies are healthy and acceptable. This is not avoidable. We just need to be very conscious about how we do government here'
