How Do You Define a Heat Wave?
Allan's research focuses on heat extremes and their impacts on people. His work is mainly in the u k, but he's just published a new study on the results of a hunt for the world's most extreme heat waves over the past 60 years. He also works as an embedded researcher for an organization called climate northern ireland.
