The Power of Exercise for Mental Health

The beautiful thing about exercise is that you feel good after every single workout. You can start to build in mindfulness, movement breaks and self compassionate approach s into the exercise so that it really starts to be beneficial for your mental health. So one of our studies, we sur ed some young people who were physically active, but some of them were still really struggling with their mental health. It turned out to be more of a resiliency component that would have benefited from maybe talk therapy or mindfulness training,. Or maybe some icognitive behavior therapy.
