The Importance of Having Money

You and your wife were working 18 hours a day pretty much for five years straight as you were trying to build up your businesses. As long as you do what you love, you won't feel terribly bad about working. The more money you have the more power you will have over your life. You don't necessarily need to award money, but having money provides you the liberty and opportunities to do or pursue things that you love.
