I think my introduction to politics was kind of non-partisan. It was about grassroots, and it was about helping directly local residents. I mean, the Conservative Party did become a bit of an extension of our family. You actually ran against her to be a candidate in a bio-election. That was the only thing in your life that I found truly extraordinary. Did you apologise to your mother for running against her? We didn't quite run against each other, but she did run for Parliament in the 2003... in the 2001 general election. Yeah, but you wanted to withdraw your name, didn't you?
