Nomad runs entirely individually, but you can use consol to add additional features to it. For instanti for service discovery, et cetera, or key value store, where you want a store data, nomad automatically picks up the consul agent that's running locally. And thenikook, i can now register services n a future version of nomad. Were actually working on even building a simple service discovery and key value store and secret store inside of nomad itself.
