I think sometimes it feels like there's a linear line that gets drawn. And that line seems to lead back to America. On one level, even though I don't think that that's applied well, I think it makes sense because you're trying to deal with your experience here. It's not spoken as this universal thing that any African anywhere across the diaspora can pick up when I don't know if it applies the same way. Even in the States, depending on where you're from, the experience is different,. So it's not like every black Brit has the same experience either. Pan-Africanism often gets associated with something I don't want to talk about too much today
