People who have been abused always become abusers. Maybe they don't abuse other people, but they certainly abuse themselves. You identify with the aggressor and then go on to abuse yourself. Usually you end up abusing other people too, in some way or another. Nick: I think it's yeomans is pretty thoroughly grounded in all this kernberg stuff we've been talking about.
