Is There Any Through Line That Joins It All Together?

Sociologists have remarked on this that childhood and adolescence keeps getting pushed out, extended and extended. I identified two conditions that I argue need to be met in order for a digital experience to support a child's development no matter what stage of development they're at. Development importantly does not happen in a vacuum. It's embedded. So you really can't think about development without thinking about community.
