How Authority Hacker Used Giveaways to Grow Its Email List

In the early stages of Authority Hacker, we used giveaways to grow our email list. The idea with a giveaway is you give some stuff away and it's kind of like how you optimize your lead magnets. People would sign up for the giveaway, enter their email and they would get one chance to enter. But then if they invited five of their friends to join, they would get five extra chances to win. So inevitably, people did that and we grew our reach on all these different platforms. It was modest in the grand scheme of things, but for considering how small we were at the time, it was very significant.
