The pair have been writing a book every year for the last six years. Barsh is very much a celebration of the vegetable, with lots of naturally plant-based dishes. Jackfruit became available for about book three and so we got some Jackfruit recipes in there. But now they've gone out of trend again and no one really cares about banana blossom. Tempe? Is it a tempe? Yeah. That's not going anywhere. No. You know about tempe? Well, I must have eaten it... It's like tofu's more sophisticated older brother.
