Socrates' Speech to the Dionysia
Agathon says that love is wise and he's going to explain why. Agathon continues to espouse the wonders that he sees as love, listing everything he can imagine. Socrates then turns to Eric Simikis and asks whether his earlier nerves were unfounded after all. But still, he's told that while Agathon certainly spoke just as well as Socrates imagined he would,. He certainly, he, Socrates, certainly won't be lost for words. And so it was time for the philosopher to speak.
