Are We Responsible to Our Form of Life?
A cult is not a form of life, and therefore a free person cannot shirk ultimate semantic responsibility. A free being checks her inherited understanding of the good against the real world. We do not raise our children so they might be accidentally good, but to be good on purpose. Maybe we begin the process by educating someone into a way of life by motivating them with external goods just to get things off the ground.
