Is Social Distancing a Bad Thing for Single People?

Do you think that the pandemic affected how some people think about being single? There's not a lot of data on this point so I'm just going to go ahead and speculate now. The economic system is set up in a way that we don't need to be as dependent on close others as we did 100 or 200 years ago. People who really like their independence can do that in a practical kind of way now.
