What Are We Going to Lose to Sea Level Rise?

A paper at this conference was given by a guy named David Anderson. He talked about the sites that are probably going to be at risk in the southeast United States due to sea level rise. And he just used some back of the envelope math and said, all right, like, I ran this archaeological project to mitigate the damage from the construction of the Russell Reservoir on the Savannah River. So if it took this much money to mitigate this much area, and we map that area onto it, and we convert the dollars, this is probably a low ball estimate of over 10 to 12 billion or something. It's doable, but it's going to take a certain level of political will.
