The Benefits of Catholic Authority Over Protestantism
The ELCA is really liberal. Some have even said it's not even really Lutheran, but this seems to conveniently redefine a group in order to get rid of bad examples of it. For example, there are baptized Catholics who belong to the old Catholic Church that broke away in the 19th century. These kinds of Catholics are a negligible minority in the Church you rarely hear about or even run into. They aren't like the ELCA, which as I said is the largest self-described Lutheran denomination in the US.
