Diatoms Capture Carbon
Diatoms are helping to baffer our climate, maintaining the balance in global carbon cycle. Photosynthesis relies on everyone's favorite enzyme, robisco. The second thing which makes them so effective at locking carbon away is that they get eaten. Eco systems are being put under stress. They may fall outof balance in borneo michael yap says one of the winners from these changes may not be sea grass, but sea wheat.
