The Relationship Between Authors and Editors
The editor always wants you to be successful. And so sometimes we might say things which are like, you shouldn't do this or we don't want you to do this,. That can be frustrating for an author. But I promise you, I am not like waiting there to kind of stamp an F on your query. I want you to besuccessful. So always keep that in mind. These are the people that want you toBe successful and you have to treat them accordingly. Just be aware of that in terms of how you respond to them, react to them, and then you try to be like a good citizen of the book and the process.
