The Body Is the Subjectification of Your Will in the World

Schopenhauer argues that what it is that you are is coterminous with the body in so far as what you are is will. He says we experience ourselves within the world as a thing moving towards a series of goals and desires. And these goals and desires are not onomously selected, but an inextricable part of who you are,. such that you hunger, and so your will becomes aimed at finding food and eating, and the body follows suit.
